The Sea lochs around Lochalsh have recently been designated a special area of conservation due to some of the interesting and unusual creatures that inhabit and colonise the deeper reefs. There is no shortage of walks, thing's to do, places to stay, eating out or entertainment. Use the links to find accomodation, travel timetables or even to hire a car.
Kyle of Lochalsh is the ideal place to base yourself as it has Hotels, B&B's, Banks, Restaurants, Pharmacy, Camping & hardwear store, supermarkets, tourist information and various transport options from a trains to Inverness, Buses from Inverness, Glasgow & Edinburgh, local buses, car hire and various taxi's. Failing that, you can always walk!!!! The surrounding area has a choice of excellent scenic walks of every grade,most of which are described in guide books and maps, these can be purchased from our GIFT SHOP, so you can plan your routes in advance.
